RULES:
Basically I'm praying that all members of this board are upright citizens of good repute and there won't be any need to impose any rules other than those you've signed up to.
Please don't break any of the t&c's you signed up to when joining this board - especially the profanity and morally improper clauses or I'll just have to suspend or ban you from the board. No if's no butt's, because I can't be bothered to argue. It'll happen because I'm always right and because I can do it.
If you are upset or offended by anything anyone has posted here please just tell me and I'll "sort" it.

Re . Missing Photogs This is a good idea Kit. What did happen to so many people, like Steve Edwards , Pete Brouard , Chris Johnstone etc, or any other ships photogs from Noahs Ark. I have a real hazy memory of those days back in the dark ages of telex machines and rollei cameras back in the 70s. I do remember good old Oriana , cabin cc27, and all those russian ships, and I think a few greek rust buckets. Surely it is Marine Photos that owes me loads of commision on all those re-print orders they would get! Anyway nowadays in the film industry , and after years of making them , am now in front of them. Have just " starred " in " The Last Princess " , but alas not out till 2009. Earlier this year I was in " Dean Spanley ", alongside Peter O Toole , Sam Neill etc ,another period costume drama, released later this year. Hope you all get the time to see these moovies , and hopefully have a good laugh at me . Great site Kit , so many faces , so many memories , its all starting to come back to me ! Ahhhh Hi to anyone who remembers me , Nick Shaw.

Nick!
Good to hear from you. Yep I know what you mean about hazy memories of those days? So - You are a fillum star these days huh! Good for you. I once worked for a taxi firm (going back to just before MPS days) and I got involved moving fillum stars about between hotels and location - (North Yorks Dales) then hanging about the set all day waiting for them to wrap. Got roped in as an extra a few times and got invited to the end of shoot party but that was the closest I ever got to the movie industry. I can now claim to be in a Walt Disney film and in one of the early Herriot films - forget which one!
It would be GREAT to see you at the reunion - maybe if the likes of Brouard and Co. get to hear about the reunion you may be tempted to join in? Meanwhile - how the heck do you expect us all to recognise you these days? Tell you what, send in a recent mugshot or two via email to ccp.marine@gmail.com and we'll post it on the site and get the ex MPS and CCP people to keep a lookout for you.
If and when you respond to this message - can you tag in onto the end of the "Find that Photog" thread? I'm going to lock this one and hopefully copy your original msg and this reply into there anyway - It's the most popular thread on the forum at the moment.
Great to hear from you - and totally out of the blue - dare I ask how you fell across the site? Cheers Kit
