Well then, Barcham it is, anyhow he says hello to all the old crowd that know him (thats all of us I think) and said he would love to have a pint at some point. It has to be said that he can come to any meeting at any point, so its kinda up to him really.
Thanks to the forum moderator for sorting the poll, all on for the third.

Looking forward to meeting Roger again! It's been a very long time. I hope he can make it one day)
Have you advised him how he could join us here in the Forum Mark?
Only a few days to go till our next meeting...... Have we got a volunteer Colchester <> Brighlingsea chauffuer yet?
If not then we could need a 7 seater taxi to get us home? Thoughts anyone?
Kit

Have to speak to Admin about that one Mike. I get the impression that kit cant actually make that date sadly. Oh well, have to arrange another date then!! I think we can all make it on 18th November!! Or can we? No sorry, washing my hair that night! I don't know where you guys all get the idea that Kit cant make the 3rd . If you would keep up to date and pay attention you would know kit has taken the trouble to not only vote for the 3rd but he has put on record that he can make almost any date up to and including the 19th of July If you are going to gossip please get your facts in order, I think this particular miss information started with JC well what should we expect from the third world, not quite up to the same speed as the rest of us PS Had a nice chat today with Roger Bartrum (I think its Bartrum / Bartram?) he said he would be interested in a pint, I wonder what you all think about a pub out Ipswich way, it might be the only chance we get to see Chris as he hasn't made many meetings and doesn't look like making the next one either, Mike Snell may also be persuaded to come as well Oi don't blame me!!! i saw a post from jezzer quote...."Have to speak to Admin about that one Mike. I get the impression that kit cant actually make that date sadly. Oh well, have to arrange another date then!! I think we can all make it on 18th November!! Or can we? No sorry, washing my hair that night! " Some Chief Purser will have to answer for this administrative balls up!!! Jezer first rounds on you AND IT'S NOT WATER! Kit, I will yarn to you about a Nikon SLR digi on the night... when do you go again? jc

Hello everybody. Lets see how many people notice that there has been some activity at last on here since Ron on the 6th july.
I did a "reckie" (is that how you say it?) over to the pub on Manningtree Station. I have to say, I was very slightly dissapointed with the place. It has been refurbished and i have to say is a bit canteen like. It is still a pub however, still serving a selection of real ales and i was informed that it does get quite busy on a Friday night. It didnt have the charm however, that it used to have when it was a cosy little bar. I am still keen to go as it doesnt matter where we go once the beer starts flowing. It is open till 11.pm. Please everybody, let me know your thoughts!
Lot and lots of love Jezzer xxx
